IAFF Local 2612 represents the 98 men and women employed as professional Firefighters by Sedgwick County Fire District #1. Our local was originally established in 1984.

     The Fire Department covers approximately 657 square miles of Sedgwick County and provides Fire Suppression, Rescue, and EMS services to a resident population of roughly 85,000 people. 

Crews from the department's stations responded to over 2,000 alarms last year.
